Los Banos in Manille!!!

Posting two separate weekend dates I had with college friends.
(1) Two or even three weekends ago, we had our late lunch at Moshi Moshi in Katipunan before we attended Sunday service at Galleria.
(2) Chilled at Fred's late afternoon last Saturday.

I. Moshi Moshi
The food is good because (1) they have generous serving portions which would definitely make you burp and, (2) everything is budget-priced. The interior is also supercuuuute which made us actually opt to eat here.

On one end, expect Tokyo Tokyoish Japanese-kunu dishes. Japanese fastfood as I'd like to call it. The food was oily, heavy on the stomach, and satiating. The contrast that is totally not Japanese.

I checked on their facebook page just now and it is actually stated that Moshi Moshi is a Japanese fastfood joint! So yes, if I were to be asked once again if Moshi Moshi's Japanese fastfood dishes are worth your money and would satisfy your appetite, I'd definitely say yes and would recommend it.
Grassssss <333
These KitKat boxes on display initially caught my attention.
The packaging of Japanese products are always really cute! One of the reasons why we spend so much unnecessary things at Japanese stores like Saizen! #guiltypleasure
Reasonably priced, eh?

First time to spend quality time with these ladies after a very long time!!!

UP DILIMAN DAY

DECEMBER 22, 2010: I was looking forward to this day --the first day of my work leave! Finally, two weeks off work!

Fin and I spent half the day at UP Diliman for breakfast and just did whatever. Being in UP makes me miss college years and everything in between! *going nostalgic here*

Before I entered college, older people would say that nothing beats high school shizz and that at the end of it all, your high school friends will forever be your comrade. I agree since I am now back in my hometown and we constantly spend time with each other whenever our schedules permit and as always, we spend awesome hours talking about life, future plans, plans on putting up our business, looking back and still laughing at memorial HS memes and boo-boos, and planning and scheduling vacations which make us feel that we are, indeed, grown-ups and kickin' it all up a notch! :-) But I say, college is as great as high school and I'm really glad that most college friends and I still get to see each other from time to time. Hee!

Holding a WYON The Killers themed Notebook. Will blog about it soooon! NICEST NOTEBOOK IN THE PLANET! YOU SHOULD HAVE/ORDER ONE, TOO! They're customized notebooks!
 Full smile, please
Sneak Peek of WYON (WriteYourOwnNotes). It's plastic covered even! Really something for clumsy and uncareful people like me! haha!
WYON! WYON! WYON! I'll soon make a post about this great customizedpersonalized notebook --going over and over, K!

After spending half the day in Diliman, we went to Glorietta for Vans. Then, we went to Megamall for lunch at Orchard Road and visited Forever 21 --literally just visited and looked at merchandise since I don't have money and not that I wanted anything too. Hah!

HAIL Knockoffs

I make it a point to visit one shoe store in Cubao Expo every time I pay a short visit. They have cheap yet nice ladies' shoes. Some even have Landmark tag prices which they sell for more than half the price. It is where I found the perfect PVC flats.

I told myself a year ago that I will not buy jelly shoes EVERRR. You know those salable jelly shoes you see everywhere? Those, in particular. But then, I found a cute PVC-made flats with a tiny peep toe hole and a bow over the toes. They are the cutest in the planet! I'm thinking they are Vivienne Westwood melissa Ultragirl shoes x Lovefoxxx Numa knock-offs, though. But being a yuppie who just finished college and just started working four months ago without more-than-enough savings, I can settle on forgivable knockoffs.

REALLY CUTEEE at really affordable price!
Lovefoxxx Numa x Melissa Ultragirl = rendition of mine

The Lovefoxxx Numa gave me the willies. Most people will surely be initially scared when they see your shoes with two rats on each pair! hah!
This is a collaboration between melissa and Lovefoxxx, the lead singer from the cult Brasilian band CSS (Cansei de Ser Sexy). In line with Lovefoxxx's love of the animal kingdom it features a mouse on the front of the shoe. The mouse is not detachable and is in a different spot on the left and right shoe. ABOUT Directly lifted from HERE

There are A LOT, A LOT melissa shoes to love. Here are a few favorites I would personally want to wear:

J Maskrey Vinyl

 or a simple Vinyl

I really am not a fan of winged SB-like shoes but this VW Wing (very Japanese/Harajuku) wedges is the bomb! My problem with this one will probably be its fit on my feet.
VW Zen Girl
I'd wear this everyday!
VW Mary-Jane. I won't choose yellow, though.
This is the style that started it all for the melissa + Vivienne Westwood collaboration

Just a little somethin' somethin' about the brand, melissa shoes are made from eco-friendly and recyclable mono materials and has been leading an ecological  fashion revolution for almost 30 years. The brand collaborates with top designers namely Vivienne Westwood, Jean Paul Gaultier, Alexandre Herchcovitch, Edson Matsuo, Gaetano Pesce, Zaha Hadid, Karim Rashid, Campana Brothers, Isabela Capeto, Lovefoxxx, Judy Blame, and J Maskrey.

Ipanema/Shoe Salon also carries few melissa shoes. No collaborations pieces yet, though.
